Presentation Title: From Porosity to Stability: Advanced Materials Characterization for High-Performance Applications
Presentation Summary: In this lecture, we will discuss the importance of advanced characterization in understanding and optimizing materials for high-performance applications. We will explore how complementary techniques such as BET (surface area and pore distribution analysis), rheology (yield stress and slurry stability), true density, zeta potential, and X-ray diffraction provide essential insights into the structure, stability, and functionality of materials. We will address how these analyses are fundamental for the development and improvement of formulations, ensuring efficiency in industrial processes and quality in applications such as conventional and lithium batteries.
