ELBC 2026 OPENS CALL FOR PAPERS AND LAUNCHES THE INTERNATIONAL LEAD AWARD: INNOVATIONS AND LEADERSHIP SHAPING THE FUTURE OF THE GLOBAL LEAD INDUSTRY
The 2026 edition of the ELBC European Lead Battery Conference & Exhibition is now officially underway.
The event, which will take place from September 15–18 in Vienna, Austria, has opened its Call for Papers, inviting experts, researchers, companies, and professionals from the global lead battery value chain to submit their technical work and innovations.
Organized by the International Lead Association (ILA) in partnership with the Consortium for Battery Innovation (CBI), ELBC is recognized as the world’s leading conference dedicated to the technological, scientific, and industrial advancement of the lead battery sector.
Call for Papers: Innovations Driving the Sector Forward
The event’s technical committee is accepting abstracts covering any aspect of lead battery technology—from fundamental research to advanced applications. Priority topics include:

• Innovations in materials, performance, durability, and efficiency
The deadline for submissions is February 20, 2026.
